Best Kar98k loadout in Call Of Duty Vanguard Season 1
The Kar98k is extremely powerful, but the base setup is rather slow. With this Kar98k loadout, we aim to make it much faster so that you can run around and quickscope enemies in multiplayer. Whether you’re on a tight close-quarters map or battling out in the open, this Kar98k class will help you get plenty of kills and earn an easy V2 rocket.

To make the Kar98k faster, we recommend equipping the Krausnick 560mm LWSO3K, SMLE Pistol Grip, Fabric Grip and Short Stock. These all make the Kar98k much quicker by improving the ADS and sprint-to-fire speed, making it much easier to run around and quickscope enemies. Since the Krausnick 560mm LWSO3K barrel reduces your bullet velocity, we suggest using the Lengthened ammo type to balance this out and make your Kar98k feel less sluggish. While the above attachments make the Kar98k much quicker, you might realise that it is much less accurate and harder to control. To make the Kar98k more stable and easier to control, equip the G28 Compensator. This increases your recoil control, helping you land easy headshots across the map. If you take a hit, the Icy Veins proficiency helps you clutch up by making you more accurate while injured or suppressed. As always, the Fully Loaded kit is crucial for this loadout. It gives you max ammo for your Kar98k so that you can get plenty of kills without needing to hunt for more bullets or swap weapon. While you might want to pair Fully Loaded with the 5.6mm 20 Round Mags, we’d actually recommend running the Kar98k without a Magazine attachment. Some of the magazines available decrease your one-shot kill area, while others reduce the amount of ammo in each clip. There are positives to each magazine, such as reduced recoil and faster reload speeds, but the Kar98k’s strength lies in its one-shot kill potential, which is best without any attachment in this slot. This Kar98k loadout performs well at any range, so the optic is largely down to personal preference. If you’re struggling to pick, we suggest using the G16 2.5X scope, as it is effective at any range and improves your idle sway control.
Secondary Weapon
Since the Kar98k is effective at any range, there are plenty of options that you could use for your secondary. The Combat Shotgun is the best Shotgun in Call Of Duty: Vanguard, and would be perfect if you prefer slow, powerful guns. However, since the Kar98k is bolt-action, we recommend using a weapon that fires rapidly, such as the MP40 or STG44, as your secondary. This makes you more versatile, so you can adapt quickly when you need to rip through the enemy team.

If you want to use one of the weapons mentioned above in your secondary slot, you’ll need Overkill to equip two primary weapons. Adopting a run-and-gun playstyle means you could easily run into a group of enemies unexpectedly. If this happens, the Thermite and Stim are an ideal combo, as you can quickly throw the Thermite grenade into the crowd before using a Stim and getting out of danger with your refreshed tactical sprint.
