What are World Tiers in Outriders?
World Tiers in Outriders are a way of increasing the difficulty of the game, in exchange for better loot and more rewards. When starting a new game with a new character you’ll always begin in the lowest World Tier, but if you keep playing on the highest World Tier available to you, you’ll unlock more World Tiers as time goes on. World Tiers aren’t tied to particular locations or missions: you can go through a mission once at World Tier 1, and then replay the same mission later on at World Tier 15. Each time you unlock a new World Tier, you’ll also permanently increase your wearable item level cap by +1. So unlocking World Tiers also makes you more powerful over time. World Tier farm: how to increase World Tier fast
To unlock the next World Tier, you need to kill enemies on the highest World Tier you have unlocked. So you can’t unlock World Tier 10 by farming at World Tier 5. You need to be at World Tier 9. You only earn XP towards your World Tier for killing enemies, not for completing missions, so just focus on killing. If you die you’ll lose some of your progress towards the next World Tier, but you’ll never be demoted to a previous World Tier. The absolute best World Tier farm location in Outriders is the third story point in the “First City” chapter. It’s called “Reach the other side of the river”, and it’s essentially just a point-to-point mission in an area filled with dozens of small, weak creatures called Perforos. They’re very easy to kill with any build, as long as you have some crowd control effects and abilities, along with health leech for when one occasionally gets within melee range before you can take them out. Each time you finish this “Reach the other side of the river” mission, play it again. Whenever you unlock a new World Tier, make sure you continue playing on the new highest World Tier you’ve unlocked, or you won’t gain any World Tier progress.
What is the max World Tier?
The max World Tier in Outriders is World Tier 15. This Tier is called “Madness”, and it is the hardest difficulty level the game has to offer it players. On World Tier 15, all enemies are 12 levels higher than usual, but all loot is also 12 levels higher, and your chances of receiving Legendary and other high tier weapons and armor are 4-5 times higher than usual.
