Back in October of last year, players found they could use the Stim item to grant themselves infinite healing and effectively live inside the poison gas like gun-toting cockroaches. Infinity Ward fixed the exploit not long after, but something has awakened it from its slumber and it has returned in full force (I imagine Verdansk rumbled and the glints of many needles appeared under the earth). The Warzone subreddit is filled with clips of players either losing out to stim glitchers, or braving the gas to wipe them out....

I’m more interested in this than I usually would be, because Runeterra’s charming character design is one of the main reasons I still play it. I say as much in my Runeterra review. Riot say the “inaugural ‘Draw with Riot’ will be an opportunity for LoR fans and art enthusiasts to peek behind the curtain of Riot’s character creation process, and learn the techniques used to bring the world of Runeterra to life....

Although this is billed as an “announce” trailer, we’ve known about Bloodline and Aiden Pearce’s appearance for a while thanks to Legion’s DLC roadmap. Ubisoft have shuffled around the running order of updates a few times and Bloodline is now due to arrive on July 6th. I remain somewhat surprised. I’ve seen folks mentioned that they prefer Watch_Dogs to the latter games due to its “grittier” story, but I thought Aiden Pearce was a soggy packet of cheese and onion crisps in my Watch Dogs review....

You can find the full patch notes on the Watch Dogs Legion forums. The update is a 14.4GB download, and the tweaks alongside the online mode are mostly just fixes. Legion’s online mode is focused on co-op play, letting you team up with pals in a new instance of London to recruit Dedsec members and carry out dedicated co-op missions with up to three others. Ubisoft are also going to be adding new Tactical Ops missions on March 23rd, which are five-stage challenges that require more co-op coordination to complete....

See? The thumping movements of attacks, the crumbling tokens, the cute battlegrounds, all that. But if the game’s decent enough beneath all that, sure, that’s fine. Familiar dressing eases people into the new, and it’s not like Hearthstone didn’t crib from some of the best. Total War: Elysium will have singleplayer and multiplayer battling. It’s only based on historical Total War games (no copyright, right?) so sadly we shan’t see Marie Antoinette rip the beard clean off a Dwarven Slayer, nor Skavenslaves picking their teeth with Napoleon Bonaparte’s bones....

When Xbox announced their stream times and plans earlier this month, they said: “You’ll get in-depth updates from some of our previously announced Xbox Game Studios titles alongside some of our third-party partners, including some of the incredible titles coming to Xbox this holiday, upcoming releases to our monthly subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, and much more.” The stream is set to be an hour and a half long, so there’s plenty of time to fill....

It’s a cool idea in theory, sure, but honestly, just take a moment to think about what that’s going to look like in your living room when you get it home. Ridiculous, is what it is, and yes, I will be silently judging you from afar should you decide to enter the competition to win one for yourself. A quick peek at Xbox UK’s T&Cs reveals the actual components inside the Flight Sim PC are actually pretty decent....

V meets Brendan in the shadow of Megabuilding H8 in Japantown, and a cute wee friendship grows across repeated visits in his quest chain. He’s packing some super-advanced AI, almost suspiciously advanced, which makes him seem just like a real boy. One of his other frequent customers develops a bit of a thing for him, and frankly I wish V could too. Brendan’s a good egg, sweet and funny. He’s even voiced by Bryan Dechart, the actor behind another robot adored by chromelickers, Connor from Detroit: Become Human....

As reported by The Verge, screenshots of Windows 11 first appeared on Chinese website Baidu Tieba, before it seems the whole operating system leaked. The start menu changes remove the “Live Tiles”, which tell you the weather or provide shortcuts to your Photos if you’ve ever actually stored any photos in the Windows Photos app. It does however add a new button called Widgets, which slides out a panel showing news, weather and stories from around the web....

Raven QA workers announced on Friday that a majority of the team support unionisation, and will form a group called the Game Workers Alliance under the Communication Workers of American union. They’ve called for management to voluntarily recognise the union by Tuesday, and if not will go through the National Labor Board to get it started the hard way. “Pending the recognition of our union, the Raven QA strike has ended,” tweeted the ABK Workers Alliance over the weekend....

The beta will be cross-platform multiplayer between PC and PS4, and when the game launches PS5 users will be able to get in on the crossplay action, too.
