A Space For The Unbound is Mojiken’s first ‘big’ release in that sense, clocking in at around nine-ish hours. What begins as a YA coming-of-age tale about a small-town romance quickly gains remarkable momentum, and suddenly you’re dealing with supernatural teens trying to desperately stop a world-ending calamity. Part sci-fi drama, part high school romance, A Space For The Unbound manages to have incredible weight and grandeur while also being poignant, sweet, and honest at the same time....

See, Blood & Glory is joined by a free update to Troy. While once planned to arrive last week, technical difficulties meant that update 1.3.0 now arrives alongside the bloody DLC, adding a new god, a new camera, and some long-awaited mod support. Agent In Depth is a 2D side-on platformer set across a mere 15 single-screen rooms (or that’s how many the store description says; I wouldn’t know because I am too old). As a kewl dood with a black trenchcoat and katana, you just need to parry projectiles back at enemies to destroy them, clear the room, and move on. The game’s leaderboards say its top players are able to finish it in under three minutes....

Hokko Life has loads in common with Animal Crossing. Number one: it’s cute. Plus it has talking animals that tell you useful things about the town, as well as seasonal changes, gardening and decorating features and tons more. In some areas, though, it’s a little more detailed than Nintendo’s charming life sim. For example, Hokko Life’s crafting system lets you edit and hand-design furniture, then place your creations wherever you want, and (crucially) at whatever angle you want....

This new area, aptly named Crash Site, can be found in the northern part of Kings Canyon, just beyond Artillery (where there’s now a new door to access the Crash Site from). The downed gunship is just chilling there looking a bit worse-for-wear, and it’s surrounded by scaffolding that offers varied high and low-ground positions for players to fight on. My Apex buddies will be saddened to hear that all this destruction has caused our favourite drop zone, Slum Lakes, to be washed away by flooding....

We first found out that Ark 2 would star Vin Diesel back at The Game Awards in 2020. You know it’s Diesel because he always does that grunt thing. Well, in Ark 2 he’s got a kid: Meeka, played by Moana actor Auli’i Cravalho. The game’s story centres on their “family bond”, although there’s also some “betrayal and broken promises” too. Diesel’s character is called Santiago, which is also the capital of Chile....

Valhalla stars Eivor, a Viking in male or female varieties who has come to England to help give the English a good kicking. Presumably they get tangled in some sort of alien nonsense too. We’ll also get to establish a settlement to call home when not raiding. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is coming this holiday season (November-ish) to the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store. Development is being led by Ubisoft Montreal with support from a dozen other Ubi studios....

Yep, at its top price of £2699 / $2700, the Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 (2021) isn’t exactly what you’d call a ‘sensible’ purchase, but man alive, it’s still a pretty lovely bit of kit all the same. Aside from the powerful hardware hidden inside its chunky, but surprisingly well-proportioned chassis, it’s the 2560x1440 display that really shines on the Scar 15. Not all Scar 15 laptops come with this type of display - there are also cheaper 1080p models with higher 300Hz refresh rate screens as well - but it’s the 1440p model I’ve got on test here today, and lemme tell ya, everything just looks so dang sharp thanks to that higher pixel density of 188 PPI (pixels per inch)....

I would watch or play this goofy Austin Powers adventure, and I didn’t even particularly like the films. Though watching this now, apparently I do remember almost all of it. Eexcept the bit with crashing the car into someone? I dare not look it up. It seems risky. What if I, in a reverse Austin Powers situation, feel myself falling back through time to 1997?...
