While Dragon Keep will cost monies on Steam, it’s available for free on the Epic Games Store for a week. You can head to its Epic Games Store to nab it for free anytime between now and 4pm on November 16th. After that - and on Steam right now - it’ll cost £8/€10. Assault On Dragon Keep is essentially a fantasy spin-off of Borderlands, set inside a game of in-world TTRPG called Bunkers & Badasses....

From the game’s trailer and Steam page, Earthblade looks like it’s keeping some of Celeste’s platforming and 2D pixel art but they’ll be a bigger focus on “challenging” combat. Let’s not take that challenging descriptor lightly after having our collective butts kicked by Celeste’s ‘challenging’ platforming, either. It’s not quite clear what combat entails just yet, but we can see the game’s horned protagonist get up close and personal with enemies with some rapid slashing attacks....

Microsoft announced the beta’s launch earlier today. Invitees will be able to play over 100 Xbox Game Pass games through Chrome, Safari or Microsoft’s own Edge browser. This is a limited beta, so invites will be sent out to players gradually as Microsoft gather feedback.
