Testing for Halo 4 kicked off just over a week ago, with 343 once again inviting all registered Insiders in on the pre-release flight. While expected to end on Tuesday, the MCC’s October Update has pushed the end back to next Friday, November 6th. If you’re already in the test, there should be a small update to downloading bringing the MCC up to the latest Insider build. For the most part, not much has changed in Halo 4 - though there are a fair few small tweaks and changes viewable over in the Reddit patch notes, if you’re interested....

All of these changes come in the wake of Battlefield 2042’s launch, which has been marred by bugs and negative user reviews. In Ding Dong XL you click to send a ball from one side of the screen to another. If you wait too long, the ball gets bigger and eventually explodes, resetting your score. Sometimes objects block your path, sometimes you hit bombs that clear the way. With each successful crossing your score increases by one, you fail, you start again. You can change the look of the ball you’re bashing around, but other than that there are very few options to speak of....

The board game is a hybrid of competitive deckbuilding and exploration, where 1-4 players travel around an overworld collecting cards to play in separate combat encounters. I do dig deckbuilding, but I suspect this might lack a little magic to anyone who isn’t after a nostalgia kick. As you can see in the trailer above, there’s a lot going on. Here’s all they had for us. I must admit, the very first Bondy note that twanged on the soundtrack grabbed my attention. I thought I imagined it. IO have good form in developing a game with a sneaky sociopath in a tailored suit, so it’s a reasonably snug fit for them. Hitman could probably just be reskinned with hair and we’d be sorted. It’s an original story, so won’t it be linked to the upcoming No Time To Die movie....

The rumoured multiplayer game isn’t the only ’new’ Horizon project in the works, either, according to the report. Despite it only having been five years since Guerrilla released Horizon Zero Dawn on PlayStation, and three since it came to PC, the report also makes mention of a Zero Dawn remaster as well. MP1st’s sources say one is coming for PS5, although they don’t qualify whether the PC release would receive a similar zhuzing up....
