Like the Arkham series, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is an open world brawling action-adventure, but it will be set in Metropolis. That’s the home of Superman, for the unaware, but he isn’t acting very homely. Supes, Batman, The Flash, and Green Lantern have fallen under the mind-control influence of Brainiac, leaving them in a state of enraged chaos. As the title suggests, it’s your job to fight back and kill the Justice League....

In case you missed it, Teardown is a game that saw Red Faction: Guerrilla’s architectural destruction and leant all the way in. That realisation has never been more apparent than after playing the first two levels of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, a successor to those early beat ‘em up TMNT arcade games being developed by Tribute Games and published by DotEmu. It captures the aesthetic of those childhood memories and makes them a reality, which is a testament to Tribute Games’ understanding of TMNT as a brand. But it also feels far too familiar, failing to substantially innovate on the original formula....

Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot said the investment by Tencent would provide “stability essential for its long-term development”. Along with the €300 million, which is made up of €200 million in shares and a €100 million capital increase, Tencent are giving Ubisoft a long-term unsecured loan to refinance their debt. The Chinese company are also providing “additional financial resources that can be used to acquire equity” in the French publishers. The deal between Guillemot Brothers and Tencent is described as the companies entering “into concert” together....

According to a Bloomberg report, the Committee On Foreign Investment In The US (CFIUS) have sent letters to the likes of Riot and Epic to ask about their “data-security protocols”. It’s the CFIUS’s job to investigate the business dealings of US companies to make sure they aren’t posing risks to national security. This follows the US president’s crackdown on WeChat and TikTok. Tencent own the messaging app WeChat, while TikTok is owned by another Chinese company, ByteDance....

But Thailand clearly puts out good video game adverts. One of note features Elden Ring, a family, a strange trumpet noise, and a story as complex and obtuse as FromSoft’s offerings. We should point out that Sony will be changing how PlayStation Now works soon. Starting from June 2022, PlayStation Now will merge with PlayStation Plus to form a new, three-tiered mega service. Courier six - Fallout: New Vegas Shot twice in the head and yet they fetch quest. That is dedication from the player character of New Vegas. You lose your most important package before the game even starts (a platinum chip chock full of digital goodies). But with some questing, road-following and liberal application of bullets, you get the glorified USB dongle back and finally make the delivery, playing kingmaker with a rubbley Las Vegas in the process....

I just wish I could explore more of Karnaca. I want to break free of the game’s constraints and just wander into the hills, or potter around the mountains. This isn’t a criticism, it’s more of a compliment I think. That Arkane crafted a world I hunger for, but I probably won’t ever get to explore fully. All I can do is bash my character against invisible walls and wail in agony....

As anyone who’s read our best VR headsets list will attest, there aren’t actually that many kits designed with PC gaming in mind. It doesn’t take much to pick the pockets of Ali’s unsuspecting targets. All you need to do is walk up behind a character, hold down Y (or 1, if you’re on keyboard), and let go once the seesawing arrow falls into the shrinking, but still very generous, purple pick-pocket zone. There’s no stealth involved, and you can do it in plain sight of other characters as well. Some folks throw in the additional ‘challenge’ of walking slowly through the game’s various locations, forcing you to inch alongside them in order to stay within pick-pocketing range, but it never gets more complicated than that....

So, at this year’s Geoffscom I was able to see a 20-minute presentation of some new Callisto goodness and then chat with Striking Distance Studios’ chief technology officer Mark James about what I’d seen. One of the key new features shown off during the new gameplay presentation was the mutations, or rather, the Biophages (the game’s fancy word for horrible zombies) penchant to suddenly erupt a mass of writhing tentacles from any part of their body....

That’s in spite of The Cycle: Frontier going fairly light on visual customisation options, with only six individual quality settings and four presets. It does support DLSS, so Nvidia RTX owners can employ upscaling for even more frames per second, though AMD’s rival FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) is absent entirely.
