The Logistics Organisation for General Improvement (L.O.G.I.) have organised and posted an open letter addressed to the developers, Siege Camp (formerly known as Clapfoot). The letter says they “believe the current state of logistics has become a threat to the overall health of the game”, identifying eleven key issues and asking the devs to lay out their plans to address them. “The cumulative effects of changes made to other systems within Foxhole have increased the stress and responsibility placed on the Logistics player base,” L....

Rumbleverse is a 40-person battle royale mostly focused on melee combat. Ollie was surprised by just how much he enjoyed it back in December. “I went in expecting to say ’nope, not for me’ after a couple of games. Instead the deluge of endorphins offered by this silly-looking game completely swept me off my feet,” he wrote. You get a good look at the shotgun in the video where Alyx fights a load of Combine: Now let’s zoom in a little: That’s great, that. What a cracking little arm that gun has. How weird the whole design is. I also like that the arm is too lazy to pull the bolt itself; that’s on Alyx. These maps are classic Master Chief party houses, loyal to the supremacy of abstract shapes, with clarity to every corner and a pared-back art style that makes a brief glance of an enemy in a doorway pop out. Pick-ups lounge on exposed podiums like glimmering sirens. Isolated platforms furnish gravity hammers, surrounded by a grinning void. They are arenas that somehow feel both dangerous and fair. The two new maps are Argyle and Detachment, but it’s the former that interests me most. Developers 343 describe the map as a “tight, indoor, symmetrical map” set within “the narrow corridors of a UNSC vessel”, but I just love its architecture. It’s split levels, high ceilings, long drops into shadowy voids, and needlessly angular wall struts remind me of Natural Selection or Quake community levels. The Filters can drop clouds of Radioactive Particulate when damaged, which in turn will damage you as well as a ship’s electronics.
