Developed by Moonlight Kids and published by Humble Games, The Wild At Heart is an action-adventure game with puzzles you can solve by throwing Spritelings at them. Judging from the trailer, these little beings have different powers or uses - the red ones, for example, look like they set things on fire. You’ll need to use the Spritelings to collect materials for crafting, as well as battle other supernatural beasts....

Crysis Remastered is what the name suggests: the original 2006 first-person shooter with a daub of 4K and 8K paint applied on top. When I played it last September, I wasn’t overwhelmed. The graphical upgrade isn’t substantial, and there’s a decent chance most of the additions are things your computer can’t handle. Beyond that, there are also still bugs from the original game present, and it defaults to the (in my view inferior) nanosuit power system from the sequels....

You can find the User-Friendly Hairstyle Changer over on Nexus mods courtesy of modder “UTF_8x”. The handy little utility lets you select your current hairstyle from a dropdown menu, locate your save file, and then choose a new hairstyle to slap on your scalp. As of now, you can only swap out your hairstyle, not colour, unfortunately. UTF_8x explains that beard selection may also be possible to add to the utility, but other changes like hair or eye colour are less certain based on what is and isn’t compressed within Cyberpunk 2077’s save files....

World’s End Club is about the Go-Getters Club, a group of weird kids from across Japan whose summer trip somehow ends up in an abandoned undersea theme park, where a clown forces them into a “Fate Game”. And from this mundane starting point, it gets weird. Sounds grim? In Japan, it was even more intense, released under the name Death March Club. It looks to unfold with simple side-scrolling platforming, mild action, gentle puzzling, and a lot of chat and cutscenes as the gang make a long journey....

The season pass will consist of four DLC packs in total, with each one bringing new cosmetics, upgrades to the Midnight Sun’s HQ The Abbey, new story missions and new playable heroes: Deadpool, Venom, Morbius and Storm. Firaxis and publisher 2K haven’t revealed when we can expect each pack to land just yet, but we do know that Deadpool’s DLC pack is coming first. Venom will be up next, despite his role in the main game as an antagonist....

In Deathloop you play as Colt, a bloke trapped in a timeloop. In order to escape, you need to assassinate eight targets before the day ends and everything resets. And in the newest trailer I’ve linked below, we see a hefty slice of a mission where you’re hunting down a fella in a wolf mask. First and foremost, I think Deathloop looks great. In classic Arkane style, the world looks wonderfully woven together, with plenty of spots to gather intel and leap on unsuspecting enemies from all sorts of angles....

Deep Rock’s developers outlined the update in a post on Steam. Mod.io is the most significant addition. It’s a third-party equivalent to Steam Workshop, and similarly lets you browse a database of mods and subscribe to those you want to install. They will then be automatically downloaded and updated. Mod.io can be visited from Deep Rock’s in-game browser, or by heading to drg.mod.io. You’ll need to sign up first. Mods are then split into three categories: verified, which are typically quality-of-life mods that do not alter gameplay; approved, which alter gameplay but do not disupt regular progression; and sandbox, which alter rewards and mission payouts and thus do alter progression....

I played through a fairly early section of Deliver Us Mars at Gamescom, and despite a few glimpses of why it might have been pushed back (from September 2022 to February 2nd, 2023), I was left encouraged by the meatiness of the new traversal methods and intrigued by the game’s mysteries. As in Deliver Us The Moon, you’re dispatched from a dying Earth in pursuit of tech that might save it, but there’s a more personal touch: you’re also after your dad, seemingly the one who absconded with the MacGuffins in the first place....

In a conversation on Twitter, Gordon gives a simple answer for why folks may think the new OST sounds a bit shoddy. Although he composed it, Gordon says that he only did the final audio mix for a “small handful” of tracks in the new OST. Apparently “Meathook” and “Command And Control” are two of the few that had his hand on the final product.
